Our Client, one of the gambling industry´s most established and respected names, have a vacancy in their Gibraltar office for a Deputy Poker Manager.
This role will assist the Poker Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the company and its white label partner sites and help analyse and develop the operation in order to drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Collate and analyse key daily/weekly/monthly data on the performance and profitability of the Poker product and report findings.
• Liaise with IT and software supplier on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the Poker product is operating to its maximum potential and ensure any changes, updates or improvements are implemented efficiently.
• Help to plan tournament schedules.
• Help generate new product ideas and recommend enhancements to existing products.
• Help monitor the authorisation of withdrawals and review processes in order to maximise efficiency of payments whilst minimising risk to the company.
• Assist managing the Support Team to ensure optimum customer service levels, providing the first point of escalation for any Poker related queries.
• Help implement and manage customer acquisition and retention programmes and analyse player activity.
• Help to generate and implement promotions and campaigns.
• Liase with Poker Network on issues relating to poker collusion and take appropriate action in order to minimise risk.
• Work with white label partners in order to drive the growth and profitability of their poker offering.
• Assist with the management of external poker events sponsored by or arranged by the company.
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of both the online and offline poker markets.
• Experience of working in an online poker operation.
• Experience of marketing initiatives, player recruitment programmes, player retention programmes.
• Determination to succeed, drive and ambition, commitment.
• Ability to cope with pressure and deliver to deadlines and targets.
• Flexible attitude to working hours – weekends and evenings included.
This position offers a competitive salary circa £25k and the opportunity to join a major organisation as they grow their operation in Gibraltar.
