Our Client, specialists in the construction and management of multi-manager portfolios, have a vacancy for a Portfolio Administrator within their organisation based in Gibraltar. They are recognised as one of the most experienced leaders in the Fund-of-Hedge-Funds industry.
Key responsibilities:
Producing client portfolio performance reports, which includes comparing and collating underlying hedge fund NAVs, calculating assets and liabilities, checking cash balances, calculating profit/losses of forward foreign exchanges and calculating monthly performance figures.
Updating information system with portfolio trades and account movements.
Preparing investment directives and instructions and sending instructions to custodians.
Liaising with custodians and administrators to ensure settlement of deals and resolving queries.
Preparing portfolio currency hedging.
Dealing with queries and requests from clients and group.
Preparing various reports for both Gibraltar and group.
The ideal candidate should have experience in fund/portfolio administration. Applicants without experience but educated to degree level who are keen to start a career in portfolio administration will also be considered, as will applicants who have experience in other areas of the finance sector. Please also note our Client will only consider candidates that have already relocated to Gibraltar or Andalucia for this position.
Salary will be paid commensurate with experience.
