Investment Adviser

Vacancy Description

A leading private bank in Gibraltar urgently require an Investment Adviser who is fluent in English plus either French or German.

Objective of function:

Provide a fast, efficient, friendly and high quality service to existing and target clients.
Offer competent investment advice according to current Private Banking policy.

Duties:

Client Services and Investment Focus
Prepare investment proposals for clients in conjunction with Senior Relationship Manager.
Handle client correspondence and enquiries/requests.
Complete the Advisory Process with Clients

Support / Executions:

Develop full Globus ability to enable fast and accurate inputting of securities deals, f/x, deposit rollovers and other client matters (output enquiries, funds transfers etc.).
Seek ways to optimise workflow and procedures within Front Office.

Business Development:

Research prospect client and introducer networks with Senior Relationship Manager in appropriate client / market segment.
Deputise for private clients assigned and seek opportunities to promote services and products as discussed with Senior Relationship Manager (and in turn help business targets to be achieved).

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all internal & regulatory requirements for due diligence & Know-Your-Client and monitor account activity to prevent Money Laundering, reporting any suspicions as necessary

Various:

Conduct special projects as assigned by Team Head and Head of Front Office in conjunction with Senior Relationship Manager.
Assist with activity and marketing reports.
Monitor and clear current account debit/credit balances.
Handle corporate actions, liaising with clients as necessary.
Assist in the opening and closing of accounts.
